Swedish Massage. (60 minutes- full body, 30 min. specified area)
Swedish massageSwedish massage helps a person relax, assists stress management and increases delivery of blood and oxygen to the massaged areas, warming them, and decreasing stiffness and pain. It also stimulates your lymphatic system, helping the body to rid itself of stored toxins and strengthening your immune system.
Massage involves the application of pressure (by kneading, rubbing or traction) to help ease musculo-skeletal problems. With the therapist out of the room - outer clothing is removed, the client lies on a massage couch and towels are used to cover the body and preserve modesty. Plant-based massage oil is used to allow free movement of the massage techniques.

Sports Massage (60 minutes, 30 min. specified area)
sports massageSports and remedial massage therapy is the skilled application of a wide range of therapeutic techniques in the prevention and treatment of a sports related injury and to help support the client to maintain and improve fitness. The therapist may also use techniques to assist a client with injuries or trauma sustained both in a sports and non-sports situation such as at home or at work.
A typical session will involve appraising the injury using a number of techniques including posture analysis, gait analysis, biomechanical assessment, as well as soft tissue assessment. The session itself may include deep tissue massage, soft tissue therapy and mobilisation.

reflexologyfoot map Reflexology deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which are believed to correspond to parts of the body. The therapist applies directional pressure to reflex points on the feet using the thumb and fingers.
Many people believe that Reflexology helps to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium this brings about Improved Relaxation, a sense of wellbeing and improved health.
Some Patients suggest Reflexology can help with Menopause, they report significant reduction in hot flushes, improved libido, reduced anxiety and improved sleep. They have more energy, are able to concentrate better and their memory improves.

Head, hands and feet  (40 minutes)
Clients who prefer to remain fully clothed and or seated for their treatment can experience the benefits of massage by having their head, hands and feet massaged.
